Camry Commercial

We just recently saw this commercial for Camry and thought it was perfect. Our running joke since we got our car that it will be Lilly's car to drive in high school. I think this commercial explains that well! Follow the link to view it.

Update on our ginormous spider: It was a cat faced spider (Thanks Shalee!) Totally harmless, just totally gross!

The Biggest Spider EVER!

This is so gross! We were just cleaning up a few things in the backyard when I noticed on our screen door this ginormous spider! I was so grossed out. This certainly was enough to give me the heebie Jeebies! I hate spiders, and this one had a body the size of a quarter! If I had found that inside my house I think I would have flipped a lid. I was just glad that it was outside and the girls were inside. Aaron thought it was cool, but he was kind enough to kill the spider for me. Thanks sweetie, for taking care of all the things that I am too afraid to take care of myself!

9 Months Old

Molly is already 9 months old! She is just growing up so fast. I can hardly believe that she can already wear this outfit! She has 3 teeth with 3 more on the way. She isn't crawling yet, but she is trying to figure it out. She loves loves loves food and she is generally a happy baby (although she doesn't like to play by herself like her sister does.) She is such a great addition to our family and we couldn't be more in love with her. She is definitely shaping up to be our adventurous child, and I am afraid that once she starts moving, I might actually have to baby proof the house. She is guaranteed to be in anything and everything! We love you Molly!

Dance Class

Lilly has been doing a dance class at the Community Rec. Center. At first she wasn't very excited about the class, but now she can hardly wait for the day to come that she gets to wear her dance clothes and go to class. She isn't very good yet at doing some of the things, but she is getting better.

Saying cheese for the picture

She just decided to sit down for this picture, maybe she is showing me one of her moves!?!

Dog Agility Course

Yesterday we headed out to the park so Lilly could run off some energy. When we arrived at the park, there was a dog agility course. It was really fun to watch the dogs going through the course. Lilly thought it was awesome. It was a really fun evening at the park.

Molly in her hooded sweatshirt. I thought she was so cute in it.

The girls watching the dogs.

Lilly loved the dogs.

Here is a dog going through the course.

Yet another dog going through the course.

A New Accomplishment

Yeah for Lilly! She is now 100% potty trained and we all love it! It took only 1 week and 3 accidents (all on the first day!) We couldn't be prouder of her. She even is able to go all night with no accidents. Yesterday in church I went to check on her and everyone in Nursery said she went all by herself with no problems. I was so happy. So say goodbye to pull-ups because we are 100% done with them! If anyone needs some I have some left!

Molly's Hair

This is what Molly's hair looks like after it is taken out of her "whale spout" hairdo. I love that it is a total Mohawk. She can certainly sport it.

Feeding Molly

Lilly is such a good big sister and she always wants to help do anything and everything for Molly. Lately she has wanted to feed Molly. She is very good at getting the food on the spoon and into her mouth with minimal mess. Molly loves her sister and especially loves it when Lilly feeds her. They are two peas in a pod!

A New Sense of Accomplishment

I consider myself a good cook. My food always tastes good, and in the last 5 years there has been only 1 meal that we couldn't eat. I made chicken soup last night and I have to say that I felt such a sense of accomplishment with it. We live in a semi-homemade world. It is so easy to just open that box and then add the few ingredients to make it taste great. I have to say that is mostly how I cook. Making something, besides cookies and treats, completely from scratch is pretty rare. But chicken soup, well that takes considerable time and attention and it is completely homemade down to my own broth. I just was so proud of it that I had to share. There is nothing like homemade soup. It definitely will cure any ailment!

Busy...But Finally Updating

Does my calendar look full? I have discovered that life as a primary president can be very busy. I have never had more meetings, and I have never written down things just so I can remember more than I do now. My sister laughs at me because I literally write down everything! But I am finally updating and that couldn't make anyone happier than my husband.

Bath Time

The girls love playing together. But they love taking baths even more. Molly is finally big enough and they just have the best time playing together. They are such good sisters.

Molly loves bath time. We can hardly give her a bath without getting soaked ourselves. She just splashes so much!

Our girls together. Such good friends!

Potty Training

We are now seriously potty training. Lilly is finally ready (I think!?!) and she has been doing really well. The night before we were to start potty training we pulled out her underwear and talked to her about wearing them and what it means. All she wanted to do was wear her underwear. It was pretty funny to see her pull these on over her pajamas. We started potty training and had a pretty successful day. She went 4 times and only had 2 accidents! I think we are finally on the road to being diaper free - with at least one child!

First Day of Preschool

We decided to enroll Lilly in preschool because we felt that she really needed the interaction with children. She absolutely loves preschool and just can't get enough. She knows what that letter A says and she tells me every time after preschool that all she did was color. She couldn't be happier and it is a nice little break for mom too!

Here she is on her first day of preschool. She wouldn't even let me clean up the kitchen because she just wanted to go.
