Easter Eggs

Tonight we decorated our Easter Eggs. Lilly was so excited she could hardly contain herself. She helped with each and every step. She helped boil the eggs, get the mugs, clean up dinner and get everything ready. She loved it! She did a really great job and this year she didn't try to eat the dye! Molly watched everything but decided that she would rather play on the ground. I guess maybe next year she will be more interested.

Sleep

I came home from picking up the kids from preschool and I found this....

Aaron thought it was really funny that she just laid down in our doorway and went to sleep, so he had to take the picture. Poor girl, I guess we just wear her out!

Daddy and His Girls

The girls just love to play with Daddy no matter what he is doing. Aaron is so good with the girls and there is always giggling when Daddy is around. Thanks for being such a great husband and father. All your girls love you very much!

Easter Dresses

This year since it is General Conference on Easter the girls got to wear their dresses to church a week early. They loved it! Or more importantly, Lilly loved it. I know they are wearing the same dress, but we just got so many pictures that we had to separate them. I made their flowers in their hair too. I think the girls turned out pretty cute!

Molly was definitely the hardest to get pictures of. She really only wanted to play!

Lilly is such a ham sometimes. She loved taking her pictures and always puts her own unique spin into it!

Well I didn't get any really great ones of them together, but maybe we will soon.

Molly's Favorite Things To Do

Molly is really growing up fast! We have noticed lately a few of her favorite things to do.....

She loves to put the plates on her head, regardless of what is on them. Let's just say we have had many extra baths because of gooey maple syrup!

She loves, loves, loves to put clothing around her neck. She will typically find a shirt and put it on her back and neck, then crawl around with it on her. She can keep it on for a long time. hmm, maybe I should get her a baby scarf or something...

Easter Egg Hunts

While we were at the cabin, Britton organized an Easter Egg Hunt for the kids. *Sigh* - She is so awesome! Anyway, we set up two different hunts so that the big kids wouldn't overbear the little kids, and so it could be a little more controlled! We kept it inside because it was just a little too wet outside.

Lilly had the best time with her Easter egg hunt. She thought it was super cool and didn't want to stop for any pictures. Too bad she has a slightly picture obsessed mom who made her stop. She did great at finding the eggs and really just wanted the candy that was inside. I don't know why, but I can't seem to get a really good picture of her just smiling at me. She only wants to do silly faces! Oh well - we will just keep trying.

This was Molly's first egg hunt ever! She wasn't so sure what to do at first, but she quickly got the hang of it. She is a little slower because she crawls, but that definitely didn't stop her! She thought it was great to pick up the eggs and put them in the basket. I think it also taught her a new wonderful skill. I have some fake eggs on our coffee table and anytime one ends up on the ground - put there, I'm sure - by the mess monster living in our house, she will pick it up and put it back in the basket! So impressive!

Cabin Trip

We just got home from a great trip to the cabin with our friends the Blauer's. The kids played so well together. In this picture they are acting like dogs! That seem to be the new thing. Anyway, we had a great time hanging out, playing games, watching movies, making bows, eating, eating and eating! Thanks for going with us Blauer Family!

Oh What a Day!

I am having a - sure, watch that movie 3 times, forget a child in the car, put soap in the dishwasher but don't turn it on, maybe I should get dressed kind of day. Will my brain ever return?

On a happier note, Aaron and I are both working really hard to live a healthier lifestyle. Aaron has lost almost 19 pounds and I have lost 12 (darn men always lose faster!) Aaron is doing the good ole' work out every morning and I am doing the HCG diet. I love it and it is working wonders. I have another 3 weeks of this strict diet before more food freedom, but it is worth it.

I also made this for Aaron today:

I think it turned out pretty cute. It has some rolos inside to go with the Pot of Gold - I didn't have a pot, so this small can works pretty well. I just love making little things and putting them on the bed for him to find. I think he secretly loves it too!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Grandma's House

We just got back from a fun trip to my mom's house. Of course I didn't get any pictures except these two of the kids in the car. There is nothing better than a sleeping baby that just won't let go of her snacks! Anyway, we headed to my mom's house on Monday and got to stay a full week. It was really nice to be there. We painted, carded, hung out, went to lewiston and had a great time. It was a nice and relaxing trip. Thanks Mom and Dad for everything! We love you.
