Welcome Baby Grant!

Last night my sister April gave birth to her third child. They didn't know what they were having, but it turns out it was a boy! Grant Nolan Clayson was born around 11:15 pm weighing in at 6 lbs 8 oz and 19 inches long. He was almost a full pound less than the other kids and a full week late! He is a cutie (pictures to follow) and we just wanted to say CONGRATULATIONS CLAYSON FAMILY!

Congratulations Sanchez Family!

Yesterday Aaron and I had the opportunity to travel to the Salt Lake Temple and participate in the sealing of our friends Heather and Michael Sanchez and their 5 children! It was an awesome experience! Aaron and I dropped Lilly off at my friend Brooke's house and then we went to a session at the temple. Michael and Heather had also taken out their endowements that day, so it was great to be their with them. After the session we headed into a sealing room, and with Aaron as one of the witnesses, we watched as Heather and Michael were sealed together for time and eternity. After that was finished they brought in the kids and they were all sealed together as an eternal family. It was a really special day and we were so happy to be their with them.

Haircut and Grandma & Grandpa's house

Lilly was in need of a haircut in the worst way. Her hair was so long, but a little scraggly at the ends. It was even getting to be so that she would just constantly look like my little orphan because her hair was always a mess no matter how many times a day I did it! So we decided to get it cut into a little bob cut. I really wasn't sure how she would react to it, but she did great. The next morning Lilly and I headed out to White Bird. We had a great time at home. We picked Elderberries, made lots of jam, went to the Grangeville Farmer's Market, and spent a lot of time trying to control the sugar rushing through my daughter's veins! Let's just say that grandpa was more than happy to provide Lilly with not 1 but 2 king sized Hershey bars plus 3-5 suckers, Uncle JR provided a normal sized Hershey bar, and grandma provided M&Ms! What are you going to do!?! She didn't mind being spoiled, and she was definitely really good for everyone! Thanks for letting us visit mom and dad, we had a great time!

Here comes the first cut!
She wasn't so sure about seeing her hair on the cape
The finished product! It turned out great and she likes it a lot!

Can you find me?

The balloons from Lilly's birthday had lost some of their height over night and Lilly thought they would be great to play in. She loved it so much she even tried hiding in them! See if you can find her.

I'll give you a hint. Her arm is sticking out!
Aaron wanted in on the fun and thought that this was the right pose for a picture!

Sleeping at the Table

One day we put Lilly up to the table for lunch. She got through most of her corn dog, well the breading at least, before Aaron looked over and this is what he saw. She fell asleep at the table during lunch! It wasn't even nap time, and she wasn't acting tired before! Anyway, she looked like she was about to fall over so we put her down for a nice long nap!

Labor Day Weekend

For Labor Day weekend we went to the cabin in Preston with our friends Dan, Candace, and Bella. We had a great time. The girls played pretty well together and only fought a few times. Candace and I made a lot of hair bows for the girls, and the boys went 4 wheeling and who knows what, I was too busy making bows with Candace! We played a lot of games, ate way too much (Thanks a lot everyone! I gained 6 pounds in one month and I know it was all because of that weekend!) and we laughed a lot! Of course both Candace and I forgot our cameras, but we had fun anyway. Thanks for going with us guys. Can't wait to do it again!
