Halloween!

Halloween! We love Halloween at our house! This year the kids (or at least Molly) was pretty specific about what she wanted to be for Halloween. And as you can see that was a mermaid. Or more specifically a Barbie Mermaid. We had a delicious Halloween dinner with our friends and then we had a super fun Trunk-or-Treat at our ward building. Prizes were given out for the cars and we won! I don't remember what for!?! Then we went Trick-or-Treating around our neighborhood and kids got the best treat ever! One of our neighbors gave out lighted strobe swords. The kids were in heaven! Happy Halloween!

Yummy! Top: 7-layer dip, Deviled Eyeball eggs, Black Widow cupcakes.

Boise Temple Open House

We were able to go to the Boise Temple Open House! It was made even more special because we had some great guests that came to stay with us. We had our nephew Stanford and his girlfriend Jen and My sister Amber and her friend Amanda. I loved going through the temple with my family. It was so special and beautiful. I loved being able to walk through the sealing room where Aaron and I were sealed together for time and all eternity. It was so special to see our childrens faces as they looked at the beautiful chandeliers and looked into the mirrors. What a special experience. I am so glad that we could share it with our family!

Like I said... She's good at the self portraits!

Pumpkin Time!

It's pumpkin picking time! We decided this year to go to Linder Farms to pick our pumpkins. I wanted the real go out in the field and pick your pumpkin experience! We found pumpkins and a lot of them. By the time we left it was dark and we had some heavy pumpkins to tote back to the car! The kids had a blast and I would totally go again!

Painting Pumpkins

Every year we let the kids get a little pumpkin and then they can paint it however they want to. Lilly tries to make hers as sparkely as possible while Molly just tries to get as much paint as possible on the pumpkin. It's always a fun time at the Haws Household!

A new project

I have been doing little projects for my living room (which really just means, I am in the midst of changing it, but it is taking a long time, or rather, I am taking a long time.) Anyway, I needed to make over this picture frame because it just wasn't lookin' pretty. I like how it turned out!
