Molly is 6 months old! I can't believe how fast time has flown by. She is such a great baby. She is happy (most of the time). She loves to eat - if you can't tell, and drinks almost 8 ounces at a feeding. She is just such a joy to be around. She loves her sister to no end, she is totally vain and loves the mirror, Bath time is one of her favorite things now, and she is trying to sit up on her own. She takes the best naps in the world and still she sleeps through the night. I will post her stats later after our doctors appointment.

Potty Training Attempt Number ???
I am desperate for her to just go! She holds it all day! It is driving me crazy, so we finally sat her in there with her own juice, some crackers, and the portable DVD player. She sat there and drank 6 glasses of juice and not one drop left her body! UGH! Then when she does get down, she has no problem releasing the pee on the carpet! I guess we will just have to keep trying and in the meantime we have nixed the use of the DVD player! It did nothing to help our cause.

My Latest Project
Here is my latest project....
I wanted to make a new floral arrangement for our house, so while I was in Utah with my Mom and sisters we headed to Tai Pan Trading and picked out flowers and a vase. It took forever to get everything but here is what we got. Now lets see what I can make out of it!?!
The final results (sorry the picture is a little blurred). I think that it turned out great. In the end I didn't use everything that we bought and I did wish for a few more big flowers, but I like the way it looks. It only took me like 4 times of ripping it out and starting over to get something I am pretty happy with.

Happy Father's Day
Happy Father's Day to a wonderful husband and father! We had a great day. We went to church, came home, had dinner and just relaxed. Could it really get much better than that? Aaron got a few new U2 Cd's to help his collection along and he also got the game Settler's of Catan. We haven't played it yet, but I know it is a super fun game! The best part of the whole day was listening to Lilly saying Happy Father's Day over and over. She was just so excited by the whole thing.

Spring Cleaning....For the Garage!
We have been in our house for 2 years now and we have never really cleaned out our garage. We just tended to throw stuff in and walk away. Well Aaron and I took a Saturday and tackled the mammoth piles of boxes and junk. It only took us like 6 hours! The girls were so good the whole time, which made it much easier to do our job. We got everything organized, swept and cleaned. I have to admit it looks awesome and feels so much better.

Strawberry Freezer Jam
I wasn't going to make any jams this year, but Aaron really wanted some strawberry freezer jam. So we got some strawberries and set to work. Lilly was so excited about this and could hardly wait to help. She had a hand in each and every step of the jam process. She mixed, she stirred and she even pushed the button on the food processor. She did a really great job.
The finished product. Look how proud she is!

How Does This Happen?
Start with one clean baby. Add a bowl of baby cereal, a spoon and a bib. The results are as follows.....
How does this happen? There is food everywhere. It's on her face, by her eyes, on her hands, and even on her feet! You practically have to go straight to the bath just to make sure you get it all off of her! But I have to admit it is pretty fun to take a whole new step with Molly and entering the wonderful world of food by spoon.

My Kitchen Helper
Lilly has really been wanting to help with everything and so we got her her own little apron and she loves it. She is constantly wanting to stir and mash and help with whatever she can help with. It is so fun to do more and more with her. She is just growing up so fast.

Random Funniness
Lilly has been doing and saying the funniest things lately. Aaron and I are just in a constant state of laughter with her. Yesterday as we were getting ready to leave for church and Lilly was walking around counting in Spanish. Apparently she can count to 10! I used to have an attitude about her watching Dora The Explorer, but one time Dora did teach her to count to 10 (in English) So I had to admit that Dora wasn't that bad, but now, apparently Dora has taught her how to count to 10 in Spanish. Then she would start going, uno 1, dos 2, tres 3 etc. So she obviously understands that she is counting numbers. I have to say it is pretty funny to see a 2 1/2 year old count in Spanish. This morning we were sitting in our bed and I asked her if she wanted to watch a cartoon. She said yes so I started to give her her options. I said a few that I know she likes, and then the last one I said was Winnie the Pooh. She just looked and me and said "Huh?" Then I said Winnie the Pooh, then all of a sudden she gives me this look and then looks down towards my bum and goes "Mom, you Poopin' in the bed! You don't poop in the bed!" I couldn't believe my ears. I just started laughing and then explained that it was the show Winnie the Pooh! and yes, Mommy doesn't poopoo in the bed! I suppose this comes as a result from our potty training attempts.

Birds
Today it rained in Pocatello, and it was really nice because it cooled everything down to the perfect temperature. The end of the rain brought with it birds! I looked outside and there were a ton of birds everywhere! Apparently our lawn has a well stocked supply of worms, because they were pulling them up one by one. They were just so cute, I had to show some pictures. Sorry the pictures didn't all come out that great because I was trying to take them through the sliding glass door. I didn't want to open it and scare them all away.

Reindeer
This morning I walked in the room to Lilly telling me that Molly is a Reindeer. It has begun! Lilly is now dressing her sister up into things, and Molly can't do a thing about it. Hmm... I wonder what will be next?
