Yesterday we went to the Pocatello Parade of Lights. It was so much fun to be able to participate. Aaron helped decorate and drove the bus for the parade. The girls thought it was fun to ride with their dad for the first and only time ever. The bus looked awesome and I couldn't believe how much it really looked like a house. The theme this year was "Home for the Holidays" The school district won Best Not-For-Profit entry. We were also lucky enough to have our friend Britton, Hannah and Logan ride with us. The girls did OK most of the time, but they especially loved waving to all the people. There were also some great floats that we got to see up close. There were a bunch of Harleys lined up like reindeer for Santa's sleigh. There was also a cool Cinderella carriage. It was such a fun experience.

Thanksgiving
We had a great Thanksgiving this year. It is so nice to be with family and to be able to laugh all the time. We all helped with dinner and it turned out great. Stanford was sadly sick on Thanksgiving day so he didn't get to partake in our feast. As you can see, Chelsea is sleeping in the picture I got of her. She did that a lot. I realized I must be old because I certainly can't sleep all day if I even want to have a chance at sleeping that night! Love ya Chelsea! Anyway I hope that you all had a great Thanksgiving.

An Early Christmas Present
On thanksgiving night we ring in the beginning of the holidays by opening presents from cousins and siblings. It's nice that we have the chance to see others open your gifts to them. This year Lilly got a horse, barbie/princess and she is in heaven. It is so fun to see how much she loves it and wants to play with it. She is just growing up so fast! Thanks AJ (Andrea) Lilly loves her gift from you!

Cousins
We had such a great weekend with family. We were able to go to the cabin to spend Thanksgiving with Aaron's sister Lauren and her family. It was so nice to not have to go so far. The girls had a blast getting to know a few of their cousins better. Eliza was fantastic with the girls and played with them both a lot. We went to the store while in Preston and the girls loved riding in this fun cart/car. Thanks Eliza for being such a great cousin!

High Chair
Whenever we go to the cabin, Molly uses this awesome high chair. I think his parents said they had that with their first? I'm not positive. Anyway the point is that it's old. Molly loves it. She love that she has more room to move around in this chair. Look how much she loves it!

Thanksgiving Party
Today was Lilly's Preschool Thanksgiving party. It was so fun. We all sat down and helped the kids with a couple crafts. Then the kids got up in front and sang a couple songs for us and recited their poem of the month. It was so cute. I could tell that Lilly really was memorizing things. After the kids sang for us, we had a yummy lunch then headed home. Happy Thanksgiving!

New Moon
Lacey, Becca, Britton and Heather. We weren't by everyone else from our group. We all got separated because of the mass amount of people at the theatre.

Feeling Crafty
Lately I have just been feeling really crafty. Usually I make bows, but lately it has become sewing! I know, some of you may say, "Sewing, Really?" Well, I am not the best sewer in the world, but I do like to try. My latest project was this portable high chair. The last time we traveled to my grandma's house we ended up tying Molly to the chair. I decided that this time we would essentially tie her to the chair, but with a little more style. I'm happy with the way it all turned out.

Look At Me Go!
Molly is now crawling! Yeah! She gets around almost everywhere now, and she couldn't be happier. The only problem now is that she has decided Lilly's toys are better. So we are entering the share with you sister phase. It's such a joy.

A New Milestone
Molly did something new today! She sat herself back up after laying on the ground! Yay! I know, some of you out there are thinking no big deal, but me.... FINALLY! She is just getting so much more independent and is much happier now that she can move more. Way to go Molly, I am one proud Mom.

Random Funny
Lilly has been saying a lot of funny things lately, but tonight at dinner it took the cake! We were discussing how fast our kids our growing up and how they will be dating before we even know it. Aaron was talking about how Lilly would date all these creepy boys. So I turned to Lilly and this is how the rest of the conversation goes....
Me: "Lilly, will you promise to date only nice boys?"
Lilly: (insert little whine and cry here) "No Mom I don't like boys"
Me: "Maybe someday you will. So do you promise to date only nice boys?"
Lilly: "No Mom, I don't like boys! I only like girls!"
So the laughing ensued and Aaron and I wondered how you talk to a 3 year old about this. I suppose you don't and just wait to broach the subject when we have too. Boy oh boy, I'm not sure that I'm looking forward to that day!

It's Fall!
It's fall here in Pocatello, and that can mean only one thing... leaves, leaves and more leaves. Our trees seem to drop a surprising amount of leaves each year. But the kids love it and Lilly really wanted in on the action this year.
